Terrigal 50+ Leisure & Learning are looking for a reliable and friendly volunteer to assist in their busy and social kitchen. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a team and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves to help with everyday kitchen tasks.

Duties include:

• Food preparation including sandwiches, wraps and salads
• Making tea and coffee
• Assisting with tray set-up for lunches
• Taking orders and operating the till
• Loading and unloading the commercial dishwasher
• General kitchen support alongside cooks preparing hot meals

No prior experience is necessary—if you can do it at home, you’ll be able to do it here! Full training and support will be provided. The most important thing is a positive attitude and a willingness to be part of a fun, social environment.

What’s involved:

• Minimum one shift per week
• Flexible days available
• Morning shifts from 9:00am to 1.00pm
• Morning tea and lunch provided
