Social Media Volunteer
Location: Mission to Seafarers Victoria (MtSV) and/or remote
Hours: Minimum 4 hours per week
Are you creative, digitally savvy, and passionate about using social media for a meaningful cause? Join the team at Mission to Seafarers Victoria and help share our story while engaging and growing our online community.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support the development and day-to-day management of our social media platforms
- Create and curate engaging content across channels, including written posts, photos, and short-form videos
- Assist with content creation and editing to ensure quality and consistency
- Attend events and capture live content for real-time engagement
- Maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across all platforms
- Work closely with the Management team to plan and schedule content through a social media calendar
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities to enhance our online presence
- Engage with our community by responding to messages, comments, and enquiries in a timely manner
- Review performance analytics and contribute to reports on key metrics and insights
