Volunteer Garden Helper at Rivergum Community Garden

About the role Rivergum Community Garden is a welcoming, community-run garden in Revesby, Sydney. We're looking for volunteers to help tend, grow and maintain our shared green space. This will involve weeding, watering, planting and general garden care.
No experience is necessary. We'll show you the ropes and along the way you'll pick up practical skills you can take home to your own garden.
When We meet most Friday mornings at 9.30am, with a Saturday afternoon session on the first weekend of each month. We're also trialling additional Saturday sessions to suit people who work during the week.
We ask for a commitment of at least two sessions per month.
Who we're looking for
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Enthusiasm for community, gardening and getting your hands dirty
About us Rivergum Community Garden operates under Revesby Uniting Church and runs workshops in conjunction with the Royal Botanic Garden's Community Greening team. Revesby Uniting Church is a progressive, inclusive community and the garden is open and welcoming to everyone.
