Deputy Associate Director - Technology & AI

**Duties **
-
Support the strategic planning of ICT needs.

Ensure web and emails are functioning well and upgraded appropriately.

Ensure support when there are technical issues.

Represent the Technology & AI portfolio in meetings, including on the AD's behalf when the AD is unavailable.

Maintain a strong relationship with all portfolio leaders to ensure their ICT needs are being met.

Maintain a relationship with vendors and providers of services to the chapter.

Assist in making recommendations to portfolios where ICT solutions are appropriate.

Develop an IT strategy to help deliver the chapter strategy.

Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over ICT activities.

Support the Associate Director in the coordination and delivery of Technology & AI portfolio initiatives.

Assist with organising portfolio activities, including scheduling and facilitating meetings, coordinating the team and maintaining key project and portfolio documentation.

Prepare draft reports and supporting documentation as required, and perform other duties as assigned.
**Deliverables **
- Web and emails are functioning well and upgraded appropriately.
- Assist the Associate Director in developing a Technology & AI strategy to improve processes and workflow for the chapter.
- Input into the identification and development of benefit opportunities for members.
- Sharing market and/or Industry perspective(s) on PMI Queensland Chapter membership.
- Technology & AI portfolio initiatives are supported and progressed in line with agreed priorities.
- Portfolio meetings, documentation and reporting are maintained to an appropriate standard.
- Timely draft reports and supporting materials are produced to support governance and decision-making.
**Education **
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is desirable. However, equivalent professional experience and demonstrated capability in a technology or AI role will be equally considered

- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

- Proactive and member-focused approach
**Experience **
- Strong background in ICT.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, including supporting non-technical users
- Familiarity with website or CMS management is advantageous
- Exposure to data and analytics tools with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights is desirable
- Experience within a volunteer, non-profit, or membership-based organisation is advantageous but not required
