We are a charity that supports Australians living with allergies. We provide information, support, care and access through a range of initiatives and programs.

We are looking for expressions of interest from qualified Health Care Professionals with expertise and experience with allergies to join our existing volunteer Medical Advisors.

This is an opportunity to provide your professional insight to support education, safety, and awareness for the allergy community. This will contribute towards positive health outcomes for people with all types of allergies (food, pollen, dust mites, insects, pets, drugs, etc) and reactions (anaphylaxis, asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic eczema, etc).

We welcome applications from a range of professionals who have expertise and experience with allergies, including:

• Immunologists, Allergists, GPs with an allergy special interest,
• Paediatricians, Dermatologists, Respiratory specialists
• Dietitians, Psychologists, Pharmacists, Paramedics

About You

• You are a registered Health Care Professional in Australia
• You have a background, specialisation or interest in allergies
• You are committed to helping the allergy community in Australia and outcomes that can also help people with allergies around the world

Key Responsibilities

• Review or provide input into written content, statements, resources, or submissions
• Contribute to advisory discussions on health-related matters, research priorities, or community trends (this will be subject to your experience and expertise)
• Provide guidance, as needed, on allergy-related initiatives, programs and advocacy campaigns

• This role is fully remote
• Task Frequency: As part of our Medical Advisors, you will be invited to join in certain tasks with varying commitments. If you accept to join, the task requirements will be advised at the time.
• Unpaid role
• A letter of engagement can be provided if required for your self-recorded CPD hours
