Bear Cottage is the only dedicated children's hospice in NSW and is part of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. Here, life is for living.

Bear Cottage is an uplifting and inspiring place where life is celebrated, lived to its fullest and fondly remembered. What matters most at Bear Cottage is that every child and their family enjoy time together to the fullest and is given opportunities to create special memories and receive support.

We care for children from across Australia and from all walks of life and cater for the entire family. Our team works closely with each family throughout the care of their child and ongoing bereavement support.

We are set up to provide excellence in paediatric palliative care 24 hours a day, and because we are part of The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network we have access to some of the best medical resources in the world.

We run multiple Family Support events for bereaved families throughout the year as well as some major fundraising events.

We are looking for able bodied volunteers, ideally experienced in working in events, to volunteer a small amount of time to help set up and pack down these events.
