Key Duties

• Take part in supervised gardening activities such as weeding, planting, pruning, watering, and mulching
• Support older community members by helping maintain safe and tidy garden spaces
• Follow all instructions, safety guidelines, and demonstrations provided by the facilitator
• Use tools and equipment carefully and return them after use (all provided on site)
• Work cooperatively with fellow students, contributing to a positive team environment
• Assist with basic site preparation and clean-up at the beginning and end of the session
• Show respect, patience, and courtesy when interacting with community members
• Stay engaged, punctual, and ready to participate for the full duration of the session
