💛Help our older patients feel relaxed and cared for in our Older Persons’ Mental Health unit at North Ryde.

As a volunteer, you will offer companionship while providing simple, soothing beauty experiences with a gentle hand massage and simple nail care — like filing or adding a splash of nail polish💅✨.

You will spend time with the patients, be a good listener, comfortable to share quiet moments or enjoy some calming music together🎶.

This role is all about kindness, presence, and the power of a warm, caring touch. It’s a lovely way to brighten someone’s day while offering a peaceful, pampering experience.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
