Volunteer Veterinarian - Management Committee Member

The Opportunity We are seeking a North Queensland based small animal veterinarian to join our Management Committee and contribute to our clinical governance oversight.
Our committee operates much like a Board, with responsibilities under the Incorporated Associations Act. This role offers an opportunity to build your governance profile while contributing to a meaningful cause. This is primarily a governance role. However, given our limited resources, there will initially be some engagement with operations to help shape and strengthen our clinical practices.

Your Commitment
● attend our 2-hour monthly online management committee meetings ● attend any necessary special meetings as required and the annual AGM ● periodical review of materials and committee input outside of scheduled meetings
Additional Requirements
- qualified (or recently retired) small animal veterinarian with contemporary knowledge
- interested in contributing at a governance level
- practical, collaborative and able to balance oversight with operational realities
- meets eligibility requirements under the Act (i.e., not being disqualified or bankrupt)
