The Broughton Art Society Incorporated (est. 1965) is a registered ACNC charity and disability recreational art service provider supporting artists living with disability across South Australia.

The opportunity:

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate, values driven individuals to join our volunteer Committee of Management. This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity to make a meaningful impact by strengthening governance and supporting better outcomes for people with disabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Governance, compliance and risk oversight

• Strategic direction, values and sustainability

• Advocacy for disability inclusion

• Supporting inclusive arts programs

About you / Skills & Background:

• Experience in: governance, HR, WHS, legal/compliance, NDIS, IT, marketing/social media, fundraising, finance, leadership, disability, arts.

• We encourage applications from people with disabilities (or lived experience with family or friends with disabilities) and people from diverse backgrounds.

Time commitment:

• Meetings every two months (2 hours). In person at Parkside or online

• And ad hoc work hours (WFH)

Compliance Requirement:

• Hold a current National Police Check and NDIS worker check (or willingness to obtain)
