About Us

Spirited Foundation Limited is a grassroots charity supporting young people impacted by domestic violence through community connection, nature-based programs, surf therapy, mentoring, and fundraising initiatives.

Our annual Paddle Out event has grown into an international community movement, bringing together people from Australia and around the world to raise awareness, connection, and support for vulnerable young people.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and community-minded volunteer to support our marketing and outreach efforts leading up to Paddle Out 2026 and future Spirited Foundation initiatives.

This role would suit someone who enjoys storytelling, social media, community engagement, partnership building, or grassroots event promotion.

You’ll help us expand our reach, strengthen local partnerships, and inspire more people to get involved in creating positive change for young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with social media content and community engagement
• Reaching out to local businesses and community partners
• Supporting promotion of Paddle Out 2026
• Helping coordinate sponsorship and raffle prize donations
• Assisting with email communications and marketing campaigns
• Sharing ideas to grow community participation and awareness
• Helping build relationships with local organisations, schools, and supporters.

Desired Skills & Qualities

• Friendly and confident communicator
• Passion for community impact and grassroots change
• Experience in marketing, communications, social media, events, or outreach is welcomed but not essential
• Organised and proactive attitude
• Creative thinker who enjoys connecting with people
