Wellness Hub Helper - Gym and Community Hub

We are seeking for friendly and reliable Hub Helpers to help create engaging social, wellbeing, and lifestyle opportunities for customers who are accessing our Burwood East Community Hub. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys facilitating activities, supporting events, and encouraging participation, rather than providing personal care.
*Students or individuals interested in Exercise & Sports are more than welcomed to apply to gain some hands on experience from a great team.
About the role As a Hub Helper, you’ll work alongside staff to help upkeep the community hub space, help create a welcoming environment through hospitality and social engagement. A day in the role would mean:
- Support staff with planning and setting up events and activities (board games, art and crafts, etc)
- Coordinate and encourage participation in using the common areas, gym equipment etc
- Facilitate social and recreational sessions
- Lead or assist with gentle exercise or movement activities (training provided if required)
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive environment where residents feel connected and involved
