Centre of Advanced Technologies in Cancer Research (CATCR) is a not-for-profit charity advancing cancer research through technology and innovation.
We invite Expressions of Interest from experienced leaders to strengthen our Board's capability to support sustainable funding, ethical partnerships and responsible stewardship of donor and supporter relationships.
About the Role
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will provide strategic oversight of the charity’s fundraising, partnerships and income sustainability.
Working closely with the Managing Director and Board, the role contributes to funding strategy, provides governance oversight of fundraising activities, and supports long-term financial sustainability aligned to the CATCR's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of fundraising, partnerships and income-generating activities
- Contribute to funding strategy and long-term sustainability planning
- Ensure fundraising and partnership activities are ethical, transparent and mission aligned
- Provide strategic guidance on grants and corporate partnerships
- Strengthen strategic relationships with donors, sponsors and partners
About You
You will bring:
- Experience in fundraising, partnerships, commercial or business development roles
- Understanding of ethical fundraising and governance obligations
- The ability to work collaboratively and constructively with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
Time Commitment
This role involves participation in board meetings, strategic planning sessions, committee meetings with additional meetings as required for specific issues or projects.
