We’re seeking confident, friendly, people-focused volunteers to join our inaugural Fundraising Prize Committee for our 2026 September Better Futures Ball. You’ll help secure donated prizes for our auctions and raffles by approaching businesses and individuals, playing a key role in the success of one of our most important fundraising events of the year.

About the Event The Family Co. Better Futures Ball is a cornerstone of our fundraising and partnership strategy. By helping secure prizes, you directly support The Family Co.’s strategic goals to: • Increase discretionary fundraising income • Build and strengthen relationships with businesses and community partners • Enable service expansion and reduced wait times for families seeking help • Invest more into prevention, education and early intervention programs Every prize donated helps turn generosity into real outcomes for women and families impacted by domestic violence and abuse.

What you'll be doing • Approaching businesses and community contacts for prize donations • Requesting vouchers, experiences, products or services • Representing The Family Co. warmly and professionally • Recording details of approaches and donated items and sharing details with staff • Joining occasional committee check ins (online)
