About the Role
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for governance oversight of the charity’s brand, communications and community engagement.
The role ensures the organisation’s public voice is credible and is aligned with our mission, and that communication and engagement activities build trust, raise awareness and foster advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of brand, communications and reputation
- Ensure public messaging aligns with CATCR's mission and values
- Provide strategic guidance on campaigns, digital presence and external communications
- Coordinate with fundraising leadership to support engagement outcomes
About You
You will bring:
- Experience in marketing, communications, engagement or brand leadership
- Experience in purpose-driven, charity or not-for-profit organisations
- Understanding of reputation, trust and stakeholder engagement
Time Commitment
This role involves participation in board meetings, strategic planning sessions and additional ad hoc meetings as required for input during campaigns or public initiatives
