About the role We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Grant Writer to support a high-priority funding application, with the option to stay involved on an ongoing basis.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled grant writer, communications professional, or corporate/pro bono volunteer to contribute to high-impact work in employment, training, and social enterprise.

Key duties

  • Write and refine grant applications and funding submissions
  • Interpret and respond to grant guidelines and assessment criteria
  • Translate program information into clear, compelling, outcomes-focused content
  • Align responses with funder priorities, language, and impact measures
  • Collaborate with the Green Fox team to strengthen and finalise submissions

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in grant writing, tender writing, or funding submissions
  • Strong written communication, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to interpret funding criteria and respond strategically
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in not-for-profit, social enterprise, government, or community sector (highly regarded)
