The Gosford CBD Community Hub is seeking a reliable and community-minded volunteer driver to assist with collecting food donations for our community support programs. This important role helps ensure donated food reaches local people in need.

Volunteers are needed every Monday and Thursday at 11am to collect food donations from Coles at West Gosford and deliver them to our Gosford Community Hub, where you will also assist with unpacking and putting items away.

This role would suit someone who lives close to West Gosford or within a short driving distance and enjoys helping their local community.

Duties include:

• Collecting donated food from West Gosford Coles
• Loading and transporting donations safely to Gosford CBD Community Hub
• Assisting with unpacking and storing food donations
• Some lifting required (approximately 7–10kg maximum)

Requirements:

• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Current driver’s licence
• Working With Children Check (free for volunteers)
• Police Check (assistance available to obtain one)
• Friendly, reliable and punctual
