The Outlet Route Coordinator plays an important support role within the West Gosford Meals on Wheels team, helping coordinate daily meal deliveries to older people and people living with disability across the community. Working alongside the Client Services Officer, you’ll assist with organising volunteers, preparing delivery runs, and responding to last-minute changes to ensure meals and wellbeing checks reach clients safely and on time.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, calm under pressure, enjoys problem-solving, and would like to take on a hands-on coordination role within a supportive volunteer environment.

In this role you will:

• Assist with daily delivery route preparation and volunteer briefings
• Help manage last-minute changes including volunteer absences and route adjustments
• Support and communicate with delivery volunteers throughout the shift
• Assist new volunteers during their training and buddy shifts
• Complete run logs and assist with end-of-shift administration
• Escalate incidents or concerns to the Client Services Officer when required

• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Has experience in logistics, coordination, administration or leadership roles (helpful but not essential)
