Volunteer Board Member – Marketing & Communications

Are you a marketing professional looking to give back to your community and make a genuine difference in the lives of young Queenslanders?

QLD Blue Light is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced marketing professional to join our voluntary Board. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute your skills at a strategic level while supporting a organisation with a proud history of connecting young people with positive community experiences.

About Us QLD Blue Light Association is a not-for-profit organisation working in partnership with QLD Police to provide safe, fun, and inclusive programs and events for young people across Queensland.

About the Role As a Board Member with a marketing focus, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation while providing guidance and expertise across our marketing, communications, and brand initiatives.

What We're Looking For • Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, or brand management • Strategic thinking with the ability to see the bigger picture • A genuine passion for community and youth development • Previous board or governance experience is an advantage but not essential • Ability to attend regular board meetings and contribute to organisational planning

This is an unpaid voluntary position. Board meetings are held one a month and some additional time commitment may be required.
