Volunteer Roles Include:

• Assisting with group activities and events.
• Driving participants to scheduled appointments.
• Operating a bus/van safely and efficiently to transport clients to various locations.
• Picking up and returning the bus/van to the Head Office after each outing.
• Assist Support Workers and other Volunteers with elderly clients who need help boarding and exiting the bus/van.
• Report any accidents, incidents or mechanical problems to the manager.

What We’re Looking For:

• A compassionate, friendly nature and a desire to help others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and an interest in working with older adults.
• Reliability and a positive attitude.
• Prior experience transporting elderly clients is desirable but not a requirement.
