Volunteer Coordinator for LLTF's Walk for Prems

Volunteer Role: Walk for Prems – Volunteer Coordinator Time required: 1 day per week until November 15 Organisation: Life’s Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF) Event: Walk for Prems in October 2026 Role Summary The Volunteer Coordinator plays a key role in the successful delivery of LLTF’s flagship fundraising event, Walk for Prems. This role is responsible for supporting the recruitment, coordination, and engagement of event-day volunteers, ensuring a positive experience for both volunteers and attendees. Working closely with the LLTF team, the Volunteer Coordinator helps create a welcoming, organised, and high-energy event environment that reflects the warmth and community spirit of the Foundation. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding volunteers prior to the event
- Coordinate volunteer roles, schedules, and task allocation
- Act as the main point of contact for volunteers on event day
- Provide briefings and clear instructions to ensure volunteers feel confident and supported
- Ensure all volunteer roles (e.g., registration, course marshals, merchandise, setup/pack down) are adequately staffed
- Support the setup of event spaces, signage, and materials
- Troubleshoot and respond to any volunteer queries or issues during the event
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment
- Assist with pack down and ensure all equipment is accounted for
- Provide feedback to the LLTF team post-event to support continuous improvement
