Little Nicholson Street Play Centre (Little Nichs) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community play centre that has been supporting local families and young children for generations.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us for our upcoming Working Bee and help keep this much-loved space safe, welcoming and ready for little adventurers to enjoy.

When: Sunday 28 June, 9:00am – 12:00pm

Where: Little Nicholson Street Play Centre, 13 Union St, Balmain East

Can't stay for the full three hours? No problem. Even if you can only spare an hour, we'd love to have you join us. Every contribution, big or small, helps keep Little Nichs thriving for local families.

Tasks on the day may include:

• Organising toys and play equipment
• Tidying and sorting art and craft supplies
• Pressure washing outdoor play areas
• Light gardening, including pruning small trees, raking leaves and weeding garden beds
• Raking and topping up the sandpit
• Assembling toys and furniture
• General cleaning and tidying

No special skills are required, and volunteers can choose tasks that match their interests and abilities. Whether you're handy with tools, enjoy gardening, or simply want to lend a hand, your support will make a real difference.

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work and closed-toe shoes. All equipment and guidance will be provided.

Please note: due to the nature of the volunteering, kids won't be permitted on site :)
