Live Music Locator is Australia's dedicated platform for finding live music gigs, venues, and artists. We're looking for a volunteer Social Media Manager - who genuinely loves live music and wants to help more people find it.

About the Role

You'll manage and grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok — creating and scheduling content, engaging with our community of music fans, venues, and artists, and amplifying what's happening on the platform week to week. You'll have a feel for what resonates with a music-loving audience and know how to turn a gig listing or artist story into something worth sharing.

About You

You're probably already embedded in the Australian live music scene. You go to shows, you follow venues, you know your local circuit. You understand the difference between a pub residency and a festival headline slot and you care about keeping live music culture alive and visible. Experience with content creation tools and social scheduling platforms is helpful. A genuine passion for Australian live music is essential.

Hours/ Work arrangement

The commitment is flexible and light, around 2 to 6 hours per week, work in your own time.

This is an unpaid volunteer role. What we can offer is the chance to contribute to something meaningful for Australian live music culture, build your portfolio, and work closely with a small team that's passionate about keeping live music visible and accessible.
