The Odyssey Family Recovery Centre (FRC) is a purpose-built residential program supporting parents and children to rebuild their lives while addressing the impacts of substance use.

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Volunteer Drivers to assist with transporting children to and from school, childcare, and early learning services.

This role is vital in supporting children to maintain routine, stability, and engagement in education within a recovery-focused environment

DUTIES INCLUDE: • Safely transporting children (and occasionally parents) to and from school and childcare • Providing a calm, predictable and supportive transport environment • Supporting children with complex needs using a trauma-informed approach • Assisting children to safely enter and exit vehicles • Completing vehicle safety checks and required documentation • Communicating delays, incidents or concerns promptly • Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality • Reporting any child safety or wellbeing concerns in line with policy
