MentorShe - Events Co-ordinator

This role is an important part of our MentorSHE volunteer team. Reporting to the MentorSHE Events Lead, the Event Coordinator supports the planning and delivery of events across our annual program.
This role is ideal for emerging professionals in Events, Project Management, Hospitality, Logistics, or similar fields who want hands‑on experience, industry exposure, and the chance to contribute to a meaningful community initiative. Volunteers will build practical skills, connect with leaders in the STEM sector, and enjoy perks such as discounted tickets to Women 4 STEM events.
Responsibilities include:

Support the Events Lead with planning and coordinating the MentorSHE annual event schedule

Assist with event logistics, including preparing run sheets, managing RSVPs, and supporting on‑the‑day operations

Coordinate with speakers, panelists, and venues as directed by the Events Lead, including sharing attendee numbers and accessibility requirements

Work with the Marketing team to support event communications and presentation materials

Help maintain alignment between MentorSHE events and the broader Women 4 STEM event calendar

Contribute to post‑event wrap‑ups, feedback collection, and reporting on event activities
