Administrative Assistant (Volunteer)

Location: Mission to Seafarers Victoria (MtSV)

Hours: Flexible - Ongoing and project-based

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and looking to use your skills for a meaningful cause? Join the team at Mission to Seafarers Victoria and play a key role in supporting our day-to-day operations.

As an Administrative Assistant, you'll contribute to a range of essential activities that keep our organisation running smoothly. Your work will directly support our engagement with seafarers and the broader community.

In this role, you will engage in any or all of the below activities:

  • Maintaining and updating our internal database, including donor and supporter records
  • Assisting with communications to seafarers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Compiling cash handling reconciliations
  • Supporting with copy-editing and preparation of reports
  • Counting and analysation of inventory

What we're looking for:

  • Strong written communication and language skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • A proactive and reliable approach to supporting a team

Full training will be provided, and you'll be supported every step of the way. This is a great opportunity to build your administrative experience while contributing to a not-for-profit that makes a real difference
