Share your time during weekly or fortnightly visits with an interesting elderly woman in Narren Warren.

She is a kind and compassionate man and would like someone to visit her each week a chat in Sinhalese. She is lively and would like to converse in her culture and share stories over a cup of tea.

Volunteering can make a real and positive difference in the life of this gentleman - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to weekly/fortnightly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.
