Pampering Companion
Key Duties

Provide gentle manicures to residents - nail filing; shaping; moisturising; applying polish.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control.

Create a relaxed, enjoyable and social experience for residents

Engage in friendly conversation and companionship during sessions.

Observe and report any concerns (e.g. nail/skin issues) to staff.

Set up and clean down equipment before and after each session.
Skills and Experience Needed

Kind, patient and compassionate approach to working with older people.

Basic manicure or hand care skills (formal training helpful but not essential).

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work gently with frail skin and sensitive needs.

Understanding of personal boundaries, dignity and respect.

Willingness to follow facility policies and instructions.
