Fantastic Volunteer Opportunity

Help us raise money for medical research into curing, preventing and treating type 1 diabetes.

Date: Saturday, 29th August 2026

Location: Sydney Town Hall, 483 George St, Sydney NSW 2000

Time: 4:30pm – 10:30pm (anyone able to stay a little later would be welcome)

Guests: 400+ from Sydney's corporate community

Style: Ball, 3 course sit down dinner with live auction, silent auction and raffle

Host: James Bracey

Entertainment: Furnace and the Fundamentals

Volunteer age limit: 18+ years

Duties will include:

• Greeting guests
• Talking to guests if they have questions
• Monitoring silent auction
• Live auction spotting
• Taking payments using Galabid or directing to the payment desk.
• Recording auction winner/pledgers information for payment processing

Dinner, soft drinks, water, snacks and a name badge will be provided.

Required dress: Black shirt/smart top or dress, black dress pants/skirt and appropriate covered shoes. Briefing before the event: You must view pre-recorded training video prior to the event. Further briefing will be given on the night of the event.
