We are looking for a friendly and capable Volunteer IT Administrator to support our organisation’s technology needs. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Microsoft SharePoint, device management, and IT security practices who would like to contribute their skills in a meaningful way.

How You will Contribute:

SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Support

• Assist with maintaining and organising SharePoint sites and content
• Help manage permissions and access in a simple and practical way
• Provide guidance to team members using Microsoft 365 tools
• Suggest improvements to keep things structured and easy to use

Device & System Support

• Help with basic setup and configuration of devices (e.g. laptops, phones)
• Support user access and simple account management tasks
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes where needed

IT Security & Best Practice

• Offer advice on strengthening basic IT security practices
• Help review current setups and suggest practical improvements
• Contribute to simple security guidelines to protect information

General IT Assistance

• Provide occasional troubleshooting support
• Help document systems and simple “how-to” guides
• Share ideas to improve efficiency and workflows

As a Volunteer IT Administrator, your contribution will have a meaningful and lasting impact on how our organisation operates. By helping to strengthen our technology environment, you will:

• Help us make better use of technology to support our mission and day-to-day activities

Your support will allow our team to focus more on delivering our core services, knowing that our systems are safe, structured, and working effectively.

This is a virtual role, however, you will be required to meet in person from time to time.
