YCW is an interfaith volunteer group of passionate young people who come together to address societal concerns, such as poverty, discrimination, and climate change. We work together to develop actions or initiatives to address concerns locally.

Led by our faith and values, we aim to create positive change in ourselves, our relationships, workplaces, communities, and the wider world.

Your Passions may include:

• youth rights and workers' rights
• rights of international students and CaLD rights
• social justice and equity
• analysing and reflecting on social issues
• turning your values into impactful community initiatives
• local, grassroots movements 
• creating spaces for connection and community

Duties this opportunity may include:

• community organising & advocacy
• fundraising & event planning
• campaigning, media & communications
• research, planning & analysis
• companionship & community building 
• food preparation & service
• participation in planning meetings
• grant proposal writing
• assistance/facilitation of community services & workshops
