Mental Health Month 2026: Nature Therapy with Four-Legged Friends

Conservation Volunteers Australia

Logo for Conservation Volunteers Australia

Join us for a relaxing morning of bushcare for wellbeing at Hawthorne Reserve. We'll begin by working together to remove invasive weeds, helping protect the three endangered ecological communities present at the reserve and maintain our planting zone.

After our bushcare session, we'll enjoy a morning tea in the park before welcoming the wonderful team from Delta Therapy Dogs. Volunteers will have the opportunity to unwind with some friendly doggy pats, learn about the Paws the Pressure program, and experience the positive impact that therapy dogs can have on mental health and wellbeing.

Whether you're looking to give back to nature, connect with your community, or simply enjoy some quality time with some four-legged friends in the park, we'd love to have you join us!
