Run the River is Brisbane's riverside running festival, held along the Brisbane River from Hamilton on Sunday, 23 August 2026. The event includes a Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and a 2.2km Kids Dash.

Roles include set up and pack down, registration/bib collection, event setup, aid stations, and course marshalling.

For each shift, we will need one group leader to carry a radio and advise other volunteers of updates.

Volunteers can choose to participate in one to four shifts.

This volunteer opportunity will be lots of fun, in a beautiful location with happy people, doing what they love and appreciating your help.
Each shift will give a child victim of war the equipment they need to restart their education in DRCongo.
