Turkish - Speaking Volunteer Needed – Make a Meaningful Connection

We're looking for a warm and friendly Turkish-speaking volunteer to visit an older woman living at home in Moorebank. She would love the companionship of someone she can connect with through conversation, culture, and shared experiences.
Originally from Turkey, she enjoys reminiscing about her homeland, watching Turkish programs, and spending time by the beach. While she understands some English, she feels most at ease speaking Turkish.
Whether you're sharing stories over a cup of tea, enjoying a gentle walk, or simply sitting together and chatting, your visits can bring comfort, connection, and something special to look forward to.
A regular visit once a week or once a fortnight can grow into a meaningful friendship and make a genuine difference in someone's life.
No previous volunteering experience is required—just kindness, a willingness to listen, and the ability to speak Turkish.
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and complete a National Police Check. You'll receive ongoing training, guidance, and support from your Program Coordinator every step of the way.
If you'd love to share your time, language, and friendship with someone who would truly appreciate your company, we'd love to hear from you.
