Volunteer Tutor Wanted: A Travel Interest Group - Wesley School for Seniors

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging tutor to facilitate Global Adventures: A Travel Interest Group, a social and educational course for adults who enjoy sharing and learning about travel experiences from around the world.
1. About the Course
Global Adventures is a participant-led group for people with a passion for travel, culture and discovery. Students share travel stories, photographs and videos using audio-visual equipment, while others may choose to participate as audience members and enjoy the presentations and discussions.

Teaching & Facilitation Skills
- Clear Communication: You explain complex topics in simple, engaging language.
- Discussion Leadership: You guide conversations that encourage participation and welcome diverse perspectives.
- Adaptability: You tailor sessions to meet the interests and learning styles of seniors.
- Supportive Atmosphere: You foster a warm, respectful environment where learners feel valued and inspired.

Volunteer Commitment
As a volunteer tutor, you’ll lead:
- weekly sessions lasting 1 hour
- anytime between 10am to 4pm from Monday to Friday. (subject to room availability)
- open for discussion for online class
Location
We’re conveniently located in Sydney’s CBD, just a short walk from Town Hall or St James station.
