About the Role

As a Volunteer Bus Driver, you will safely transport residents to and from local outings, providing a friendly and welcoming experience along the way. Your support helps our residents stay connected, active and engaged in the community.

Commitment

• Flexible days based on your availability
• 9:30am to 12:30pm
• Ongoing volunteer opportunity

What You'll Do

• Drive the residence bus to scheduled outings and activities
• Assist residents with embarking and disembarking where required
• Create a positive and enjoyable experience for passengers
• Follow safe driving practices and organisational procedures

Skills & Qualities

• Current unrestricted driver's licence
• Safe and confident driver with a good driving record
• Hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate or be willing to get one (reimbursed)
• Friendly, patient and reliable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to support older people with dignity and respect
