The Italian Community Festival Inc. is looking for enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers to join our Committee.

We are seeking people who are passionate about making a positive contribution to our community and helping preserve and promote Italian culture for future generations.

Whether you have experience in business, administration, events, marketing, finance, fundraising, trades—or simply have the time and enthusiasm to get involved—we would love to hear from you.

About Us

The Italian Community Festival Inc. is a volunteer-led not-for-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating, preserving and promoting Italian culture and heritage in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region. Through cultural events, community gatherings and the management of our Community Centre, we bring people together, strengthen community connections and create opportunities for future generations.

What You’ll Do

As a Committee Member, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Contribute ideas to help grow and strengthen our organisation.
• Assist with planning cultural and community events.
• Support fundraising and community initiatives.
• Help improve our Community Centre and facilities.
• Work alongside a passionate and welcoming committee.
• Be involved in decisions that shape the future of our organisation.

There is no expectation that you have experience in every area—we value enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to contribute.
