Are you a young adult with a passion for social and environmental justice?

This opportunity is open to young people aged 18-35 years who are invested in creating an equitable world and are passionate about social and environmental justice; advocacy and education; and celebrating community connectedness through volunteer service. We work together to develop actions and initiatives to address local and national concerns.

Your Passions may include:

• analysing and reflecting on social issues
• turning your values into impactful initiatives
• creating spaces for connection and community
• youth rights and workers' rights
• rights of international students
• justice and dignity for all people

YCW members are encouraged to:

• Meet socially to discuss contemporary justice issues.

• Reflect on injustices at both the local and global levels, and foster a commitment to dignity and justice.

• Maintain respectful dialogue among people of diverse faiths and beliefs.

• Commit to volunteer work within the community.

• Support and guide each other in the challenge to make a difference.

• Create opportunities to live a reflective life that brings hope to others.

• Be committed to promoting peace, equity, justice, and dignity for all human beings.

Who are we:

YCW (Young Christian Workers) is an inclusive, diverse organisation of young students and workers taking big and small actions on the issues that affect them and their communities. 

The Social Impact:

We are run by, for, and with young people. We support volunteers to build leadership and problem-solving skills in their private and public lives.
