The Illawarra is known for its strong community spirit. Every day, Lions volunteers work alongside local people to support families, improve neighbourhoods, assist community organisations and help wherever help is needed.

Now we'd love you to join us as a volunteer.

Lions clubs across the Illawarra welcome people who want to make a positive difference in their local community. Whether you can volunteer once in a while or more regularly, every contribution matters.

Our Lions clubs proudly serve communities including Wollongong, Dapto, Corrimal, Thirroul, Bulli, Shellharbour, Warilla, Albion Park and surrounding suburbs.

As a volunteer, you could help with:

• Community events and fundraising activities

• Supporting local charities and community organisations

• Youth development and school projects

• Environmental and coastal clean-up activities

• Health initiatives including vision, hearing and diabetes awareness

• Community festivals and local celebrations

No previous experience is needed and there is no expectation that you become a member.

Simply volunteer alongside local Lions members, meet new people and enjoy making a real difference in your own community.

Whether you're a student, working professional, parent, retiree or someone looking for a rewarding way to give back, you'll be warmly welcomed.
