Communities thrive when people come together to help others. Across the Capital Region, Lions volunteers work with local organisations, support families, assist community projects and help wherever there is a need.

Now we're inviting you to experience that for yourself.

Lions clubs throughout the Capital Region welcome volunteers who want to make a positive difference. Whether you can help occasionally or on a more regular basis, every volunteer is valued.

Our Lions clubs proudly support communities throughout Canberra, Queanbeyan, Belconnen, Tuggeranong, Gungahlin, Woden, Weston Creek and surrounding districts.

As a volunteer, you could help with:

• Community events and fundraising activities

• Supporting local charities and community organisations

• Youth development and school programs

• Environmental and community improvement projects

• Health initiatives including vision, hearing and diabetes awareness

• Community activities that bring people together

No experience is necessary and there is no expectation that you become a member.

Simply volunteer alongside local Lions members, enjoy making a positive difference and discover how rewarding community service can be.

People from all walks of life are welcome. Whether you're beginning your career, raising a family, retired or simply looking to contribute to your community, there is a place for you.
