Our client in Cooranbong would love some support to spend time in her garden for a little weeding, fresh air, and a friendly chat once a week or once a fortnight. 💚

For many years, the garden has been a place of peace, purpose, and enjoyment. While some tasks have become more difficult, the joy of being surrounded by flowers, plants, and nature remains as strong as ever. 🌼🌱

We're looking for a volunteer who enjoys getting their hands dirty, sharing stories, and spending quality time with an older person in the community.

🌷 What could your visits involve?

🌿 Light weeding and tidying in the garden
☕ Enjoying a cuppa and conversation
🌻 Sharing gardening tips, stories, and favourite plants
🌞 Spending time outdoors in the fresh air
💬 Providing companionship and connection

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
