Location: Central Station, Sydney

Date & Time: Wednesday, 14 October | 7:00am – 9:30am or 4:00pm - 6:30pm

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back, but short on time? Join us for just a couple of hours and help make a real difference in your community!

We’re looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers to help spread the word about mental health and suicide prevention at Central Station during the morning and afternoon rush. In just 2.5 hours, you’ll hand out resources, connect with commuters, and help raise awareness of the support available through Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland and Wesley Lifeforce.

Why Volunteer?

  • Maximum impact, minimal time: Just a short shift can help save lives and support your community.
  • Perfect for busy people: Volunteer before work or study—no ongoing commitment required.
  • Be part of something bigger: Join a passionate team making Sydney a safer, more supportive place.

What You’ll Do:

  • Hand out educational resources to commuters at Central Station
  • Direct people to our stand located on the Grand Concourse if they would like to know more

No experience needed — just bring your energy and a smile! All volunteers will receive a briefing and support on the day.
