Friendly visitor needed (Rosebud Area)

Could you spare just an hour a week or fortnight to brighten Anne's day? We're looking for a kind, patient and compassionate volunteer to visit a lovely older lady living in residential aged care in the Rosebud area.

Whilst Anne has a caring family, she would love the companionship of a regular visitor to share conversation, laughter and simple outings.

++Anne enjoys:++

• Going for gentle walks around the home and, when the weather is nice, in the local community.
• Sharing a cuppa and a good chat.
• Reminiscing about her years working in hospitality.
• Occasionally attending church services with a volunteer companion.

She would especially enjoy connecting with someone who appreciates European culture or traditions, although volunteers from all backgrounds are warmly encouraged to apply.

The ideal volunteer is someone who is warm, reliable, and enjoys building genuine friendships with older people. No special experience is needed—just kindness, a listening ear and a willingness to spend quality time together.
