Across the Snowy Monaro, neighbours helping neighbours has always been at the heart of strong communities. Lions volunteers proudly continue that tradition by supporting local families, community organisations, events and projects that make our towns and villages stronger.

Now we're inviting you to be part of that community spirit.

Lions clubs throughout the Snowy Monaro are looking for people who would like to volunteer alongside us. Whether you can help a few times each year or become involved more regularly, every contribution makes a real difference.

Our Lions clubs proudly support communities throughout Cooma, Jindabyne, Berridale, Bombala, Delegate, Adaminaby and surrounding areas.

As a volunteer, you could help with:

• Community BBQs and fundraising activities

• Local events, agricultural shows and community celebrations

• Supporting local families and community organisations

• Youth and school community projects

• Environmental and community improvement projects

• Health initiatives including vision, hearing and diabetes awareness

• Practical service projects that make local communities stronger

You don't need previous experience and you don't need to commit to becoming a member.

Simply come along, volunteer alongside friendly local Lions members and experience the satisfaction of helping your community while making new friendships.

Whether you're working, studying, retired or simply looking for a meaningful way to contribute, there is a place for you.
