As part of the federally funded Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), compassionate and friendly volunteers are needed to provide social visits and companionship to elderly residents in an aged care home in the Pennant Hills area.

The role focuses on conversation, connection, and companionship to help reduce social isolation and bring joy to residents' lives. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one visit per fortnight on an ongoing basis to build trust and meaningful relationships.

Visits are flexible and can be arranged at mutually suitable times. Reliable, patient, caring individuals with a positive outlook are encouraged to apply. Volunteers who speak Cantonese, Shanghainese, or Mandarin will be highly regarded, as many residents speak these languages.
