We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to run their own fundraiser during Book Week, supporting Reading Out of Poverty's mission to give children aged 0–5 the foundational literacy skills they need to flourish.

This Book Week, we're raising money to purchase culturally appropriate books for First Nations children in East Arnhem Land, helping them access stories that reflect and celebrate their culture.

How it works:

• Set up your own donation page on Donorbox (I will send you the link once you sign up)
• Share it with your network, friends, and family
• Reach out to local businesses or companies in your neighbourhood for support
• Get creative with your own fundraising activities - a bake sale, morning tea, raffle or anything else you can think of!
• You're responsible for running your own fundraiser - get as creative as you like!
• Fundraising closes 28 August

What we're looking for:

• Friendly, reliable volunteers passionate about literacy and giving back to remote communities
• Comfortable reaching out to your personal or professional network for donations
• No experience necessary - just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved!

Every dollar raised goes towards purchasing culturally appropriate books for First Nations children aged 0–5 in East Arnhem Land, helping build the foundation they need to flourish.
