Harsha Foundation Limited (HFL) is a registered not-for-profit charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families through our food and bill relief program. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and creative Fundraising & Events Coordinator to help plan and deliver fundraising initiatives that support our mission.
About the Role
This volunteer role is ideal for someone who enjoys organising events, thinking creatively, and bringing people together. You will play a key role in developing new fundraising ideas, coordinating community events, and helping increase awareness and support for Harsha Foundation Limited.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop new fundraising ideas and initiatives.
● Plan, organise and coordinate fundraising events from concept through to completion.
● Research new opportunities for fundraising and community engagement.
● Liaise with venues, businesses, suppliers and community groups.
● Coordinate volunteers for fundraising events.
● Prepare event timelines and assist with event logistics. ● Work closely with the marketing team to help promote events.
● Assist with organising raffles, sausage sizzles, bingo nights, community events and future fundraising activities.
● Evaluate the success of fundraising events and identify opportunities for improvement.
About You We’re looking for someone who is:
● Creative and enthusiastic.
● Well organised with excellent planning skills.
● A confident communicator.
● Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. ● Passionate about supporting the local community.
● A team player who enjoys working with volunteers. Experience in event planning, fundraising, hospitality, marketing, project coordination or community engagement is highly regarded but not essential.
Time Commitment
Flexible. Approximately 5–15 hours per week, with additional involvement around major fundraising events.
