As part of the federally funded Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), we are seeking a compassionate and friendly volunteer to provide regular social visits and companionship to an elderly gentleman living independently in Greenwich.

The role focuses on building a meaningful connection through conversation, companionship, and shared interests, helping to reduce social isolation and enhance wellbeing. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one visit per fortnight on an ongoing basis to develop a trusted and rewarding friendship.

Visits can be arranged at a mutually suitable time. Reliable, patient, and caring individuals with a positive outlook are encouraged to apply. Volunteers who speak French, German, Arabic, or English will be highly regarded.

No previous experience is required. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
