River Ave, Chatswood Bushcare Group - Wednesdays

This bushcare site stretches for nearly a kilometre along the side of the Lane Cove River, with a range of habitats from highly degraded to pristine bushland, and it includes at least two Endangered Ecological Communities. All of which makes it an ideal site to learn on. Experience is not necessary. You will receive on-the-spot training and can attend periodic workshops. It is an opportunity to meet people with similar interests, as well as learning about the natural, cultural and historical heritage of Lane Cove National Park. The group meets every Wednesday from 8.30am to 11.30am Wear long sleeves, long pants, strong shoes and a hat. Bring sunscreen and water.
