PeelConnect is seeking a creative and proactive Media & Website Support Officer to assist with website updates, content creation and community engagement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by raising awareness, strengthening community connections and supporting funding outcomes through effective digital communication.

• Volunteer business mentors providing wisdom to small business owners
• Flexible involvement level with mentees paying small admin fee
• Video mentoring sessions with 3 to 5 mentees, Queensland-wide coverage

• Distribute flyers to local locations in the community
• Represent organization professionally with good communication skills
• Volunteer role to promote Book Week Fundraiser event

• Research and secure funding for community leadership development event
• Experience in grant writing, community development, and stakeholder engagement
• Online/remote role starting in September 2026 for approximately 3 months

• Manage company bank account and XERO accounting system
• Provide monthly finance report and end of year Financial Report
• Experience with XERO and finance accounting for small charity

• Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organization's goals
• Draft engaging grant applications reflecting Knox Toy Library's impact
• Support committee with reporting, toy management, and successful grants

• Build partnerships with local organizations to promote toy library
• No formal experience needed, just enthusiasm for community involvement

• Financially-literate individual with interest in digital rights
• Responsible for accounting, financial systems, and compliance duties
• Active board member role, voluntary position, 2-3 hrs/week commitment

• Create engaging content for website, blog, and social media
• Draft media releases, newsletters, and website copy with clarity
• Collaborate with team to maintain ASCCA's brand and voice

• Analyze data to guide content strategy and editorial planning
• Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and branding across all channels
• Collaborate with team to schedule and prioritize content publication

• Conduct legal research on transport, accessibility, and public policy
• Analyze legislation, case law, policies, and academic literature
• Collaborate with team to develop research into formal legal document

• Assist with various store duties and operations
• No specific experience required, positive attitude is essential
• Support community, gain new skills, contribute to social justice

• Manage financial sustainability of registered charity organization
• Bookkeeping or finance experience desired; nonprofit knowledge helpful.
• Maintain confidentiality, work in team, long-term commitment required
